EnerMech Live Online SBT management provides our clients with a fully visible database of each individual component that make up SBT assemblies throughout the asset. A full itinerary of components is grouped by the assets own process/instrument tagging system. All information gathered during our inspections can be downloaded by the client to an Excel spreadsheet or PDF format.
Reports detailing condition and recommendations can be viewed easily by links available on our EnerMech Live system.
The SBT database has been constructed with a view to providing our clients with information exceeding the requirements of the Energy Institute Guidelines for the management of SBT assemblies. The following allows our customers to access the information collated from a baseline inspection:
EnerMech is committed to ensuring that SBT data is available and transferable to the client’s software applications where necessary. Our IT teams have experience in working with clients to understand their needs (i.e. Cataloguing, SAP, Maximo, ERP systems etc.) and to help to ensure that their SBT inventory is available in the appropriate format.
EnerMech has made every effort to ensure that this system is robust, scalable and adaptable to new technologies, innovations and specialist requirements.
EnerMech's experienced hose management services team are focused on delivering improved inspection quality for our clients' on and offshore assets and installations.
Our services range from a complete turn-key programme to simple gap-filling to complement a client's existing maintenance programme.
Over the years, EnerMech has built up considerable experience, expertise and competence, successfully delivering hose integrity management programmes. Working with customers and leading industry bodies, we are now leading the way for best practice. By optimising inspection and maintenance costs and providing industry compliant inspection, it is our aim to maximize useful life of hoses.
Field Inspections and our onsite manufacture and testing services also play a large part in our hose management services, from the generation of comprehensive asset hose register, the assessments of Fitness for Service, Comprehensive field reports including photographic library of findings, to our onsite manufacture and testing including hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings, adaptors and Q/D’s.
EnerMech's approach to hose integrity and data management allows our customer to have enhanced visibility of integrity data through the use of EnerMech Live, as well as offering superior criticality assessments leading to optimised inspection programmes.
EnerMech LIVE is a web based system which allows the sharing of information via a client specific portal. EnerMech LIVE has been developed by EnerMech using our in-house software, which enables us to customise the system to match client requirements exactly. EnerMech LIVE uses our online hose management function and a hose register which contains the most up-to-date information every hose.
Our in-house design department works closely with our clients to find solutions to any problem no matter how complex.
The tailored nature of our engineering operations allows us to work to a detailed functional design specification or where required, to provide a detailed specification on behalf of the client.
Project planning is documented and tracked via standardised project planning software. This enables our hydraulic services team to integrate seamlessly into a client’s overall schedule. Dedicated project management ensures schedules are maintained and provides a single point of contact for the customer.
At EnerMech we have extensive experience in specialist standards that apply to the a range of industries, including ATEX, Lloyds and DNV. We can provide full design, liaison and certification services where a third-party input is required or integrate with a client’s existing third party arrangement.
Typical System Works Undertaken
In-house manufacturing is carried out by highly skilled technicians, working closely with engineers based at the same location. With purpose built facilities and experience specific to hydraulic component manufacture, component integrity is maintained through the use of dedicated product assembly areas and clean rooms.
Purpose built pressure testing and flushing equipment located onsite allows for system integrity to be assured prior to dispatch and commissioning. All equipment is tested prior to dispatch with test procedures either defined by the client or prepared by EnerMech engineers.
There are a number of pitfalls that can arise when carrying out chemical cleaning operations on systems pipework, from the selection of the appropriate chemicals, to the hazard levels and the amount of waste disposal.
At EnerMech we have developed a unique in-house process for the chemical cleaning of pipework systems. The process utilizes a suite of chemicals which are less hazardous and more environmentally friendly than traditional products. EnerMech’s specialist teams will assemble a cleaning "spread" including pumping units, temporary hoses and pipework, heating coils, exchangers, circulating tanks and analytical/control equipment.
One of the most difficult chemical cleaning applications is that of Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (PCHE). Due to the design of these units, the channels within the unit are extremely small in diameter (2mm), making normal conventional cleaning almost impossible.
We have developed an extremely effective and efficient method of cleaning PCHE, which can be carried out either in our yard or sites out with our facilities. The method involves a combination of a chemical cleaning circulation, in conjunction with a series of gas puffing operations, which will ensure the optimum conditions inside the PCHE, and produce an effective and efficient cleaning programme.
At EnerMech we pride ourselves on having the most accomplished specialist facilities to service and repair hydraulic components, systems and equipment.
These facilities coupled with a reputation for service quality and response enables us to be the premier single source market leader in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical handling equipment, control systems and hydraulic components.
Our maintenance, repair and overhaul service is supported by our technical support and application engineers who deliver inspection services, pump and motor repair and tests, valve repair and tests, cylinder repair, refurbishment and testing and accumulator refurbishment and recertification.
This work can be carried out across a wide range of equipment including; hydraulic power units, hydraulic control panels, winches and windlasses, BOP carriers, windlass gearboxes, drill pipe handling equipment, davits, cranes, rig skid systems, pipe clamps, straigtheners and tensioners and ROV handling systems.
EnerMech has the largest group of specialist hydraulic technicians in our field. Our experienced and multi skilled technicians can be mobilised to a client's site anywhere in the world.
These industry experienced personnel are available to provide a range of services including; fault finding and troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs and upgrades and enhancements.
Onsite operations are fully supported by specialist engineers, QHSE advisors and operations coordinators for personnel and logistics.
Our Hydraulic Hose Inspection and Recertification team provide a bespoke service that ensure complete management of client owned hoses. By tailoring our provision to provide a more cost effective, operationally safe and efficient service, we offer more than an inspect and supply agreement. This is achieved by a simple rationalisation exercise which ensures that optimum stock levels reflect the assets that are in a ready to use condition at all times.
In addition, our Hose Integrity Management service provides an inventory of fully compliant, certified and ready to use hose assemblies.
A bespoke hose management software package developed by EnerMech provides clients with external, web based access to review stock levels, condition levels and hose certification from any location in the world, including offshore.
