SoniMech Angola

SoniMech is our joint venture company in Angola, partnered with integrated logistics provider, Sonils. Sonils, a subsidiary of Sonangol, is an integrated logistics services provider operating the 200-hectare oil service center and quayside in Luanda, Angola.

SoniMech provides smart, innovative and cost effective mechanical service solutions to the Angolan energy industry both on and offshore. With extensive engineering and workshop capability and storage facilities located in Luanda, we are ideally positioned to offer both niche services and bespoke integrated packages tailored to our local customers’ needs.

On our 14,800m2 facility we have a machine shop, covered workshops, a pressure test bay, a UHP blast alley, a sunken test pit, two 17.5 ton overhead cranes, a 100m3 water recycling system, welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, MIG, SAW), pressure testing units, Hydraulic flange torque equipment and three chart recorders, all project managed from our on-site office.
