Micro Ohmmeter RMO200G

RMO200G is a Micro Ohmmeter based on a state of the art technology, using the most advanced switch mode technique available today. RMO200G generates a true DC ripple-free current with automatically regulated test ramps. During a test the RMO200G ramps with increasing current before measuring and decreasing current after the measurement. This eliminates magnetic transients. After the test current has been set, the automatic test procedure is started by pressing the O-button.

The RMO200G instrument can store internally up to 500 measurements. All measurements are time and date stamped. Using the DV-Win software a test can be performed from a user’s PC, and the results can be obtained directly on the PC. Communication between the RMO200G and a PC is through an USB (as standard) or an RS232 cable (as an option). Using the DV-Win the result can be arranged as an Excel spreadsheet which can be later shown as a diagram and printed for a report.

The set is equipped with a thermal and an overcurrent protection. The RMO200G has a very high ability to cancel electrostatic and electromagnetic interference in HV electric fields. It is achieved by very efficient filtration. The filtration is made utilizing a proprietary hardware and software.

CB Testing

Omicron CB MC2

In combination with CIBANO 500, the CB MC2 contact module increases convenience and safety during testing. It also expands the scope of testing by adding the dynamic contact resistance test, which detects wear-related problems with main and arcing contacts.

The innovative and clearly structured connection concept means that all tests can be carried out without the need for rewiring. The circuit breaker can be grounded on both sides to prevent dangerous voltages on the equipment.

One or more CB MC2 contact modules are directly attached to the interrupter units. This keeps the high-current cables as short as possible minimizing the test set-up time. Interference is considerably reduced thanks to the digital connection to CIBANO 500.

Key features

  • Dynamic contact resistance test
  • High-current cables kept as short as possible (weight reduction)
  • Low interference due to the digital connection to CIBANO 500
  • Fast test set-up and reduced risk of wiring errors

Omicron CIBANO 500

The CIBANO 500 circuit breaker test system combines a micro-ohmmeter, timing analyzer, and a coil and motor supply in a single device. This enables all important circuit breaker tests to be carried out even when a station battery is not available.

With the 3-in-1 system all types of circuit breakers (medium- and high-voltage circuit breakers with live and dead tank design) can be tested. It features a globally unique connection technology which considerably reduces the wiring effort and time required. In addition, OMICRON's Primary Test Manager Software (PTM) ensures convenient operation and delivers one clear, combined report for all the tests performed.

The innovative accessories can be used to extend the scope of testing as well as increase convenience and safety during testing.

Key features
