Offshore Maintenance and Shutdown Support

EnerMech can deliver breakdown, maintenance and shutdown service packages in support of our customers support operational requirements on a 24/7 basis.

Our Breakdown service delivers a superior response time by giving our customers access to a pool of over eighty field technicians.

"....Customer called EnerMech PSV Manager at 06:45...Technician reported at heliport 08:30...Technician on board Offshore Platform at 13:00.”

Our Maintenance programmes are accurately planned and budgeted and visible to our customers through regular communication ensuring optimised maintenance routines based on criticality studies.

Our Shutdown support draws upon expertise from across our business (valves maintenance, leak testing, flange management, bolting and onsite machining). Our planning procedures confirm work-scopes, identify risk, manage the supply chain and introduce modern technologies and techniques.

EnerMech reduces shutdown costs through, planning, multi-skilled technicians, low cost equipment hire and years of technical expertise in process pipeline services.

Maintenance and Criticality Development

EnerMech has a robust and proven approach to Valve Maintenance.

Our system ensures that Valve Maintenance is carried out in a structured and auditable manner ensuring that the valves are maintained, inspected and certified to meet our clients' operational cost and safety metrics.

Maintenance strategy selection will be made based on detailed analysis using Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) tools. EnerMech will utilise the failure modes and data from the OREDA database to assign tasks.

Pressure Testing

As well as the standard API & EN hydrostatic and pneumatic valve leak testing, EnerMech can offer the most advanced testing to meet the severest of applications and customer specifications.

Features:

  • Fugitive emission test
  • Performance test
  • Functional test
  • Low pressure gas test
  • High pressure gas test
  • High temperature test
  • Low temperature and cryogenic test

We also provide on-site pressure testing, functional testing of automated valves and retest and calibration of pressure relief valves. As a result, EnerMech ensures the supply of safe, reliable and environmental friendly valves.

The EnerMech Graduate Engineering Scheme

What is the EnerMech Graduate Engineering Scheme?

Our graduates work on a project for six months at a time, before switching business line. For example, they might first work for Cranes, before moving onto a project for Valves or Process Pipeline & Umbilicals. At the end of each six month work period their progress is reviewed, recorded in their professional diary and signed off by the department manager.

Graduates are encouraged to aim to become either a Chartered Engineer or an Incorporated Engineer. The Scheme allows them to sample different business units before deciding in which area they finally wish to base their career, as well as building on their professional experience. Our graduates follow a structured programme in line with ImechE to enable them to become a Chartered Engineer or an Incorporated Engineer.

Why EnerMech?

EnerMech not only offer a comprehensive graduate scheme: we offer the opportunity to go further in your career.

We give our graduate engineers training which lets them build on the skills their degree has given them. At EnerMech, we aim to develop our people and push them to go further. You can read about a typical EnerMech graduate engineer here. We are hard working, friendly and energetic with a firm focus on the safety of our staff.

Air Receivers

Receiver Air 40L
Our 40 litre air receiver as our standard option, however other sizes are available upon request. This unit can be used to increase the volume of air available in an air line or use as a 6 way air manifold to allow several lines to be taken of one supply.
Receiver Air 200L

Needle Gun Air VL303
Hilti Breaker TE80
Hilti Breaker TE1000
Chisel Gun GNV-28
GNV-28 Chisel Gun is extremely powerful but the advanced patented anti-vibration system has reduced vibrations to a low level. No other tool is close to its combination of high power and low vibration level. The low vibration level and the low weight minimize long term health ricks and lower fatigue. With its low noise level and minable vibration it is possible to use the tool for longer periods of time.
Chisel Gun RRD57
Chisel Gun CP17
Chisel Gun CP4123
Needle Gun Air IPT GNV28
The GNV-28 is a compact light weight needle de-scaler which is extremely powerful. This tool also has a patented anti-vibration system which has reduced vibration levels significantly compared to other models. The lower vibration and light weight design minimise long term health risks and lowers fatigue. The needle de-scaler is designed for rust and paint removal, weld dressing, scaling, deslagging and cleaning concrete.
