EnerMech is 100% focused on safety and has a policy of zero damage to people and the environment, wherever in the world we are working. Delivering on this goal demands continuous efforts to prevent accidents and remove occupational hazards, particularly within technical aspects and safety operations.
Three industry-recognised "pillars of safety" form the backbone of EnerMech's Safety Management system - improving equipment; developing more sophisticated processes; and changing behaviours.
Our behavioural management system, ENERGISE, is focused on engraining a safety culture through changing behaviours and is targeted at all staff across every region. This is achieved through a structured set of tools and training that build the skills and understanding of all safety matters.
Our safety tools are wide ranging and include a safety culture survey, leadership training, management visits, EWOCs (EnerMech Work Observations Cards), Toolbox Talk training and much more. Our safety focus is fully engrained in our Integrated Management System.
We are also active members of Step Change in Safety.
