From shutdowns to turnarounds and maintenance EnerMech are the experts in providing blinds-to-blinds service solutions that reduce downtime and maintenance costs. We deliver a full service for our clients, providing highly trained, multi-skilled people and specialised equipment in order to execute projects safely and to the highest standard.
Our services include:
In addition to our already extensive suite of Integrated Services, our Catalyst Handling solution extends our capability by delivering the following:
EnerMech places high value in innovative and smart solutions for our clients and have developed an automated catalyst handling solution, EnCat.
EnCat has revolutionised the way Catalyst change-outs are completed within single bed catalyst reactors, including dehydrators and mercury recovery units.
The EnCat solution comprises of two main parts;
EnerVac our automated unloading tool which removes catalyst from reactors via vacuum, without any entry into the vessel during unloading and;
EnCat our automated loading tool which loads catalyst directly from drums into the reactor, without entry during the loading activities.
Both are programmable to avoid any obstacles within the vessels, such as temperature probes.
The EnCat solution provides the following benefits:
INCREASED SAFETY
Eliminates the risks of asphyxiation and engulfment
REMOVAL OF INERT ENTRY
Removes the need for inert entry
MINIMISED MANUAL HANDLING
Greatly reduces manual handling and fatigue
ELIMINATION OF CSE
Eliminates CSE during unloading and loading
REDUCED CRANE ACTIVITY
Reduces reliance on cranes
DECREASED WEATHER DEPENDENCY
More predictable outcomes through immunity to adverse weather events
LOWER CATALYST ATTRITION
Lowers catalyst attrition in comparison to traditional methods
NO REQUIREMENT FOR DECANTING
Removes the need for decanting of catalyst from drums to Bulka Bags
We are continually pushing the boundaries to further increase efficiencies for our customers and as example of this, our team at EnerMech have developed and patented a vapour phase decontamination process for dehydration media. Which removes all LELs, VOCs & oxidises H2S from the media and vessel prior to unloading, all whilst rendering the media completely deactivated.
The process is quicker and generates minimal effluent when compared to current market practices of hot nitrogen stripping or water flooding. Reactors can be declared LEL free in as little as 12 hours, with permanent oxidisation of H2S and pyrophoric material. Not only does this provide immediate schedule, safety and cost benefits, once the media is removed there is greater flexibility for transport and disposal/recycling the benign spent (but clean) media.
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do at EnerMech and we believe the LNG and Refining industry and other sectors which depend on catalysts are ready to embrace change and to minimise risk for their staff and their businesses.
