EnerMech’s Integrated Management System (IMS) captures the requirements of industry best practice, based on the three major standards which we work to; ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Our IMS organises the requirements of these standards into 12 elements that fit the way that we work.
These Elements are:
This frames the way we work now and the way we will continue to work in the future to ensure that we remain consistent with the evolving objectives of the international standards.
EnerMech is 100% focused on safety and has a policy of zero damage to people and the environment, wherever in the world we are working. Delivering on this goal demands continuous efforts to prevent accidents and remove occupational hazards, particularly within technical aspects and safety operations.
Three industry-recognised "pillars of safety" form the backbone of EnerMech's Safety Management system - improving equipment; developing more sophisticated processes; and changing behaviours.
Our behavioural management system, ENERGISE, is focused on engraining a safety culture through changing behaviours and is targeted at all staff across every region. This is achieved through a structured set of tools and training that build the skills and understanding of all safety matters.
Our safety tools are wide ranging and include a safety culture survey, leadership training, management visits, EWOCs (EnerMech Work Observations Cards), Toolbox Talk training and much more. Our safety focus is fully engrained in our Integrated Management System.
We are also active members of Step Change in Safety.
At EnerMech, we promote a culture based on open and honest communication in which people are continuously challenged.
A secure and positive working environment offering challenging tasks is one of our key strengths. This allows us to hire and retain good people, giving us a competitive edge in delivering a first class service to the industry.

EnerMech is, through its operations, exposed to risk of many categories. Understanding and managing risk exposure is important in order to obtain good overall solutions that add value but protect both our clients and our people. We strive towards a positive risk culture in which everyone evaluates risk in relation to tasks carried out on a day-to-day basis.
Risk management is a central element of business controls, in order to ensure realization of visions, goals, strategies, and action plans. EnerMech requires that relevant risk at different levels be identified and assessed. With full risk assessment, necessary actions will be planned, implemented and followed up, in order to avoid unacceptable risk.
We operate a Quality Management System that is externally approved to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2015. Written and approved procedures and instructions assure compliance with design, development, production, servicing and installation requirements.
In order to obtain a high level of quality it is imperative that management and employees display the right attitudes, and that work processes are organized as well as possible.
