Emin Ibrahimov joined EnerMech October 2011 and is currently working as a Senior Trainer/Assessor at our facility in Baku Azerbaijan.

Graduating from Medical University in Baku, specializing in Occupational Health, Emin began his oilfield career working as a Medical Advisor for the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan Oil Pipeline and South Caucasian Gas Pipeline. In this role, his varied responsibilities included conducting pre-employment medical examinations, providing safety induction courses and first aid training for new hired personnel.

Keen to develop professionally, Emin gained his HSE field experience while inspecting site clinics on projects. A later position with McDermott's in Baku as Assurance Audit Administrator saw Emin auditing contractor interface documentation and compliance to the safety procedures, again broadening his experience.

After successfully gaining his assessor qualifications for his “Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector” by the QCF and First Aid Instructor/Assessor via OFQUAL, Emin joined RGIT Montrose as First Aid and Safety Instructor.

EnerMech and the management team in Baku have fully encouraged and supported Emin’s passion for gaining new knowledge and willingness to learn, as demonstrated by his extensive portfolio of qualifications. Emin now specialises in HSE instruction for courses such as Noise, Manual Handling Assessor, COSHH, RTITB Forklift and First Aid.

Middle East & Caspian Training Team Lead Stuart Nimmo said “Emin is a hard working individual and he has gained numerous experiences whilst working with Enermech. I'm sure that as the Training department grows, Emin will continue to rise to the challenges that lie ahead and he is well positioned to help build not only his career but the company's name and reputation. He is an excellent trainer/assessor and is a true example to our junior staff. He is helpful, polite and has an excellent working relationship with the team.”

Emin said, “I take pride in my work, I enjoy sharing my experiences with others, and I enjoy the fact that once the delegates leave our facility they will be better equipped to conduct their jobs in a safe manner.”
