Steven, 19, commenced employment with EnerMech in 2009, he is currently working towards his SVQ Level 3. Steven’s previous placements include Rigging & Lifting, Cranes Workshop, Hose & Fittings workshop. Steven has chosen to specialize in the Machine Shop. Steven was the Apprentice of the Year 2011.
In Steven's words:
“I enjoy my apprenticeship at EnerMech as I get the chance to try different things. I see my career progressing very well at EnerMech as I have a promising career as a Machinst. Once I have completed my apprenticeship, I am looking forward to working my way up the career ladder within the Company.
My favourite workshop is the Machine Shop as it’s a very interesting job and full of opportunities. The Machining module is my favourite module at college as it is my job and I enjoy what I do.
I would advise new apprentices joining EnerMech to always work hard and always listen to what people tell you because you never know when it may come in handy.”
